It seems like sometimes everyone is against us.  Everyone’s cutting in & out of traffic trying to get ahead.  Classmates are competing for a grade or an internship.  Other guys trying their best to get the girl’s attention.  Is everyone just out for themselves?  Is it a full on survival of the fittest, dog eat dog, the last one standing wins type of world? Am I all alone in this world?  Or are there some people who are for me?  Are there people who wants what is best for me even if it costs them something?

The good news is that GOD, the author of life, the creator & sustainer of all that exists, the most powerful force in existence is for you.  How has God shown you that He is FOR you?  That has been the message of the book of Romans so far.  Check it out:

Romans 1-3     Even Tho We Are All Sinners, God Took the Initiative to Do What We Could Not Do For Ourselves — To Provide a Solution for Our Sin Problem

Romans 3        He Sent His Own Son As an Acceptable Sacrifice for Our Sin

Romans 4        He Imputed Righteousness to Our Account the Moment We Believed

Romans 5        He Declared Us Righteous By Grace Through Faith Giving Us:

                     — Peace with Him

                     — Access Into His Presence

                     — Deliverance from the Wrath to Come

Romans 6        God Has Freed Us From the Power of Sin

Romans 6        He Has Freed Us to Live a Life Pleasing to Him & Fulfilling to Us

Romans 7        Even Though We Still Struggle w/ Sin, God Assures Us Of Victory

Romans 8        “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all^”

So the things that are against us in life don’t compare to the one WHO is FOR us.

All of our trouble, hardship, persecution, hunger, nakedness, danger, or even the threat of death, don’t compare to the God who is on our side.  He is working all these things to the good of those who love Him. 

God is Not Against Us — He is For Us !         

He is For Us Because He Has Saved Us! 

And He Has Saved Us Because He Loves Us!
